ABOUT US

Founded in 2011, Darko Boxing is a world class boxing facility located at the 4,500 square feet prime property of 41-25 58th Street, Woodside, Queens, New York. Darko Boxing is a partnership between the New York State Attorney/Licensed Boxing Manager Eric Okyere-Darko ESQ and Certified NJSACB Corner/ USA Boxing Amateur Boxer and Coach Harrison Barba.
In addition to being a New York based attorney, Co-Owner Eric Darko is also a licensed boxing manager who has handled the former title holders such as the former 140 lb. North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Champion and International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight challenger Ben "Wonder" Tackie, Barimah Kamoko aka " Bukum Banku" - the current 2nd rated contender of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) - current undefeated welterweight contender and former African Boxing Union (ABU) Champion Emmanuel Lartei-Lartey and many more aspiring boxers.
Our interest is to provide men, women and children of all ages a place where they can come build character, become more disciplined, and acquire confidence both mentally and physically through superb athletic activities. In addition to helping our members improve themselves and achieve perfection, Darko Boxing provides local students, athletes and even the casual member with the supportive mentoring necessary in order to achieve their full potential at home, school, work and during competitions - not to mention burning over 1000 calories per visit with our professional trainers in our group or personal training sessions!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Eric O Darko & Harrison Barba
